About this crane

Work at Height. Lift Materials. One Truck.

Some jobs need a crew up high and materials lifted to them. Shaw Crane Service delivers both with our Elliott H70 HiReach — a truck-mounted aerial work platform with built-in material-handling capability.

With a 70-foot working height, about 62 feet of side reach, a spacious rotating platform rated for 500 pounds, and a 5,900-pound main winch, the H70 handles sign and lighting work, building exteriors, rooftop access, and lifting parts and equipment to elevated work areas.

Every job is performed as an operated service, so you never need to supply your own operator.

Why choose our Elliott H70?

70 feet of working height

Put a crew and tools 70 feet up — high enough for multi-story building exteriors, tall signs and light poles, and rooftop work without scaffolding.

62 feet of side reach

The boom reaches out to about 62 feet with zero tailswing, so the truck can set up at the curb or in a lot and still reach the work. Especially useful for:

  • Reaching over landscaping and parked cars
  • Working over sidewalks and storefronts
  • Building faces set back from the street
  • Tight lots where the truck can’t get close

Material handling built in

A 5,900-pound main winch lifts parts and equipment to the work area, and a platform jib (where equipped) handles lighter items right at the basket — one truck instead of a lift plus a crane.

Roomy rotating platform

A 40-by-60-inch end-mounted platform rated for 500 pounds rotates to keep the crew facing the work, with room for two people, tools, and materials.

Professional operator included

A trained operator handles setup and operation, and our team coordinates with your crew to plan the work and keep it moving safely at height.

Quick, stable setup

Truck-mounted for easy travel between jobs, with A-type front (12′ 6″) and out-and-down rear (18′) outriggers that set up quickly and keep the machine stable at full reach.

Platform and winch capacities are governed by the manufacturer’s charts and vary with boom position and reach. Work near power lines requires additional clearance and planning.

Why contractors choose Shaw Crane Service

A successful lift depends on more than capacity alone. Every project brings different access restrictions, load requirements, site conditions, and scheduling considerations.

Our focus is helping contractors and property owners choose the right lifting solution, then delivering dependable equipment and professional operation. With our Elliott H70, we can handle work at height and the lifting that goes with it — with one truck and one call.

Planning work at height?

Whether you’re installing a sign, repairing a building face, or lifting equipment to a rooftop, let Shaw Crane Service get you there. To help us plan, please provide:

  • Project address and preferred date
  • Working height needed and distance from where the truck can park
  • What will be lifted (approximate weight and size), if anything
  • Truck access and available setup area
  • Any overhead power lines or obstructions

Up High or Heavy, We Have the Lift for the Job.

Manufacturer specifications are approximate and must be verified against the load charts and equipment installed on the specific machine. Maximum lifting capacity and maximum reach are separate operating limits. Figures shown are Elliott’s published specifications for the H70R HiReach.
