About this crane
Maximum Capacity. Long Reach. Professional Crane Service.
When a lift calls for serious capacity and reach, Shaw Crane Service delivers. Our Grove GMK4115 115-Ton All-Terrain Crane combines heavy-lift power, a long six-section boom, and highway mobility — big-crane capability without the time and cost of assembling a crawler crane.
With a 115-ton maximum capacity, a MEGAFORM boom extending to 171 feet, a main boom tip height of approximately 180 feet, and a bi-fold swingaway jib for added reach, it handles modular homes, structural steel, precast, and heavy equipment throughout Cape May County and Southern New Jersey.
Every lift is performed as an operated crane service, so you never need to supply your own crane operator.
Why choose our Grove GMK4115?
Heavy-lift capacity
A 115-ton maximum capacity, with up to 57,500 pounds of counterweight, handles loads well beyond the range of boom trucks — modular sections, precast components, large mechanical equipment, and heavy steel.
Long reach
A six-section MEGAFORM boom extends from about 37 to 171 feet, and the bi-fold swingaway jib (about 33–56 feet) adds reach. Especially useful for:
- Modular home and building section setting
- Multi-story steel and precast erection
- Large rooftop units on taller buildings
- Long-radius lifts over structures and obstacles
Drives to the job
As an all-terrain crane, the GMK4115 travels on public roads at highway speed and handles rougher ground on site — no trucking in pieces, no assembly crew, and faster setup on lift day.
Professional operator included
A trained operator manages setup, operation, and load movement. For heavy and modular picks, our team works with you ahead of time to plan the lift around the load chart for your exact weight, radius, and configuration.
Maneuverable, flexible setup
All-wheel steering, independent suspension, and a roughly 9-foot travel width help it navigate job sites. Five outrigger positions — from a full 23-foot spread down to about 8.4 feet — plus variable counterweight let us set up to suit the site.
Monitored, controlled lifts
A load moment indicator continuously monitors every lift, and smooth hydraulic controls allow precise placement of heavy and high-value loads.
Lifting capacity varies with counterweight, working radius, boom length, outrigger setup, and other operating conditions. Jib and counterweight configuration should be confirmed for each lift; jib capacities are lower than the crane’s maximum main-boom rating.

Why contractors choose Shaw Crane Service
A successful lift depends on more than capacity alone. Every project brings different access restrictions, load requirements, site conditions, and scheduling considerations.
Our focus is helping contractors and property owners choose the right lifting solution, then delivering dependable equipment and professional operation. With our Grove GMK4115, we bring heavy-lift capacity and long reach to projects throughout Southern New Jersey.
Planning a heavy lift?
Whether you’re setting a modular home, erecting steel or precast, or placing heavy equipment, let Shaw Crane Service handle the lifting. To help us evaluate your lift, please provide:
- Project address and preferred lifting date
- Approximate weight and dimensions of the load (and number of picks)
- Required lifting height and horizontal distance
- Available crane setup area and site access for a 4-axle crane
- Any overhead obstructions or restricted work areas
Big Lifts. Long Reach. Dependable Service.
Manufacturer specifications are approximate and must be verified against the load charts and equipment installed on the specific machine. Maximum lifting capacity and maximum reach are separate operating limits.
